For good portrait photography, news and features – from travel to commercial – lend lots of opportunities for dynamic pictures that can tell a story. In truth, it’s how I prefer to work: I like to photograph people in real situations – whether it’s a dynamic news event, a mountain adventure or someone running a bustling café or restaurant. This kind of work is especially valuable for news stories, features and travel commissions, and I have bags of experience across all three. I work quickly and effectively with a minimal set-up, so I can put my subjects at their ease while I work around them and their routine. This is the kind of portraiture you need if you’re looking for news or PR photography for yourself, your clients or your story subject – but please take a look at my formal studio and head shot work in case that’s closer to what you need. Either way, I’d love to work with you to help tell your story.
