Spain travel photography

When Pride Life magazine commissioned me to prepare an article about Spain, travel photography was as important to the piece as the words. Starting in Bilbao – where I spent a very early morning shooting Gehry’s stunning flame-like Guggenheim Bilbao – I travelled around the Rioja region before returning to the northern coastline at San Sebastian. It’s a stunning area for travel photography, akin to Nepal for its colour and dynamism: plenty of good wine and food (including delicious pinxtos), and plenty of good stories to go along with the pictures. Even in Spain, travel photography takes time and hard work, and I was happy to oblige. If you’re looking for a hard-working travel photographer to cover cuisine and culture, please drop me an email; I’m always happy to explore ways to bring a travel story to life.
