About my work
Travel photography is my main area of work. I shoot landscapes, food, portraiture, urban scenery and more in order to tell compelling stories about incredible places. My work has been published in national media, and earned a top award from the UK’s leading photography industry body.
I have a strong attachment to photorealism: I want my travel photography to capture the lived experience of being in a place – its mood, the quality of the light, my emotional response – rather than an entirely idealised or imagined view executed through Photoshop. However, I do work extensively in black and white in my personal practice, and am intrigued by the creative possibilities of long exposure photography.
Work with me
I can take editorial and commercial commissions for travel photography across the UK and worldwide. I am seldom daunted by a difficult brief: as a former military officer I have experience working at range and in uncomfortable and dangerous places. If you’d like to discuss your needs, please get in touch – I’d love to explore how we can work together.
