Making video for charities and brands across the UK

Past Clients

Values-driven video production

My video services can help you bring your stories to life for the people you want to reach. With a background in video journalism, charity campaigns and the Armed Forces, my experience and creativity have made me a trusted video producer for charities and businesses across the UK. Whether you’re looking for social media video, a b-roll videographer or video editing services, I’m ready to help you get your story moving.

Making stories that move people.

Short films

I’m a storyteller at heart, and by far my favourite projects are those where I get to tell a story from start to finish. Whether it’s event highlights, a mini documentary or an explainer video, I work hard with clients to help make sure their video production achieves the impact they’re seeking.

That’s what I did for Sands, the baby loss charity, on their poignant Garden Day service at the National Memorial Arboretum. Using a mix of my own footage and third-party b-roll, I made a suite of short films and social media video clips – helping the charity reach its supporters and beneficiaries with the supportive message it needed to get across.

Promo videos

Video campaigns can make the difference between hitting your fundraising, sales or bookings goals, or falling short. People like to feel excited by what they see from brands they care about, and video promos can pack a lot of energy and messaging into just a minute or two.

I have masses of experience cutting and directing video campaigns for organisations and events, like the EuroMedLab 2025 event in London. I was hired for my skills across video editing and motion graphics – including logo animation –  to cut a sizzle reel for the event’s organisers, working through the Inclusive Digital video agency. The final cut played brilliantly on big screens, generating buzz for the event and helping boost its profile online.

Interviews and b-roll

Interviews can express what’s most powerful about your brand in a way you just can’t achieve in any other way. Unlike AI and scripted videos, real people can lend you the humanity and authenticity you need to reach your audience. I bring a journalist’s eye to my freelance video production work; I’m always keen to find the human angle that gets their message across, and the striking visuals that grab their audiences’ attention. And because I’m used to working on location for the UK’s main press agency, I know how to set up, record and edit interviews and b-roll efficiently so that they can be shared across social media platforms and directly to newsrooms in the format editors prefer.

It’s all about making it easier for my clients – and their media targets – to get powerful stories out at the right time, for the right audience.

Motion graphics and titling

Having worked as a video journalist, writer and charity campaigner, I know the importance of presenting information in a clean, persuasive and engaging way. Sometimes, effective motion graphics can get the point across in a way that words can’t.

I’ve developed animated logotypes, lower-thirds – namestraps and captions – titles and other graphics for a range of clients, including Anti-Slavery International. My work with Anti-Slavery International covered copywriting, publications and PR, as well as video, so I could bring strategic insight to the charity’s annual report reel – and creative use of graphics to help supporters understand the charity’s incredible impact across the world.

What I do

From motion graphics to filming and video editing, I offer a range of video services to help people, charities and businesses connect with their audiences and bring their story to life. I bring strategic insight, creativity and humanity to my work, thanks to years of experience in journalism, adventure and media campaigns. Here are just some of the ways I’ve helped clients reach their audiences with video campaigns.

I’d love to hear what you’re working on too – and to explore how we can work together to get your stories and campaigns moving.

My approach

There are lots of brilliant videographers out there – it can be hard to choose the right fit for your project. I’ll always be honest if I don’t think I can meet a brief, but I think my background means I can offer you a genuinely unique blend of skills. Over 17 years in the Armed Forces, senior communications roles at campaigning charities, and substantial experience in video and travel journalism – it’s a rare mix. I’d love to put my experience to use helping you with your video projects.

Values-driven

I’ve led comms teams at Stonewall, the Royal Air Force and Anti-Slavery International, supporting human rights campaigns, humanitarian aid delivery and equality. And when I’m not working, I lead a Cub Scouts group where I try to encourage young people to love nature and adventure, and to grow into confident and caring citizens. I choose to work on video production projects with clients whose values chime with mine – because I think you deserve to have your story told by someone who really believes in it.

Story-obsessed

I’m a storyteller at heart. That’s what’s drawn me to find roles where I’ve been able to use creativity, craft and an innate love of dealing with brilliant people. From big hikes to small charities, I’ve brought countless adventures and campaigns to life for my clients and editors, as engaging video stories that achieve impact where it matters. I’d love to explore how I can put my storytelling to good use for you.

Expedition-ready

I’ve travelled to the ends of the earth to find and tell stories about brilliant people and amazing places. Seventeen years’ service in the Royal Air Force and a decade covering travel stories have seen me filming and editing in searing deserts and on Arctic tundra. My kit, mindset and skills are shaped by a love of adventure and nature – and I’m ready to follow your story wherever it takes me.
